Wild California is an immersive, hands-on exhibit celebrating Southern California's natural landscapes, designed for young children to explore local ecosystems through active and imaginative play. Children travel from sea to sky in one visit: they can climb the climbing wall, test their balance on surfboards, splash around a toddler-friendly simulated tidal pool, and play camp in scenes inspired by Joshua Tree, the historic orange groves, and local beaches. Tree-shaped displays, native wildlife such as birds, butterflies, and squirrels, magnetic play, and multi-tiered play spaces round out the experience. It's a good fit for a children's museum, library, nature center, or family play space looking to add an engaging, nature-themed exhibit, and is re-themable to a non-SoCal specific location.
