Outreach/Museum Educator

Overview:    


The Outreach/Museum Educator is responsible for the implementation of museum programs, outreach programs, field trips, and birthday parties. at Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center. 


Qualifications:    


Experience working with young children and families preferably in an educational setting. Must be self directed, highly organized, with excellent follow through. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team or independently. Ability to work evenings/weekends as required. Professional Development/Coursework in early Childhood education or museum education experience preferred. Ability to travel to communities to deliver outreach programs. 


Job Responsibilities:    


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in developing high quality, innovative programming that reflects the mission of Imagine Nation. To foster a dynamic, playful, comfortable and accessible educational environment. Assist with museum programs and events including teaching workshops and managing field experience groups. and birthday parties.
