Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy (Senior Director), the Annual Giving Manager designs, implements, and evaluates a new annual giving program to grow support for the Museum. Please Touch Museum’s (PTM) annual giving program is poised to grow considerably to support operating and program needs, provide predictable revenue forecasts, and organizational growth opportunities in anticipation of the Museum’s 50th anniversary in 2026.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and 365 required; experience with project management software a plus; openness to new programs required.
- Previous CRM system experience required; Blackbaud/Altru knowledge desired.
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the organization and with outside constituencies.

- Must have PA Act 153 clearances (PA criminal history, FBI fingerprints, and PA Child Abuse) completed prior to hire.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and drive an innovative annual giving strategy with a foundation in annual appeals (<$500) and mid-tier gift development ($500–2,500) to increase annual fund giving and visitor participation in philanthropy.
- Assess and improve efficiency of donor acquisition, retention, reactivation, and participation goals, applying best practices and data-informed decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional collaborations with the Marketing and Communications Department, Museum Learning, and Events teams.
- Work with the database coordinator to build robust data sets and implement identification strategies to ensure success in meeting goals.
- Lead individual donor engagement: develop, implement, track, and assess creative and effective approaches to retain and reactivate donors.
- Monitor progress against fundraising targets, overseeing dashboards to report annual giving performance and drive strategy development, while communicating opportunities and challenges.
- Produce well-written, accurate, and timely correspondence such as contact reports, cover and thank you letters, e-mails, reports, and briefings in support of donor stewardship.
- Attend special events, stewardship events, and community events as a PTM representative.
