Avenue, National Children’s Museum celebrates the joy of childhood through science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) exhibits and programs. As Administrative Systems Specialist, you will help realize this vision for hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

Bachelor’s degree;

Previous experience in the non-profit sector, preferably at a cultural institution;

Knowledge or experience working with emerging technology and interactive

Job Responsibilities:    

what you’ll do 

As Administrative Systems Specialist, reporting to the VP of Finance and Administration, you will be a critical member of the administrative team. You will help provide support for all

of the Museum’s administrative and systems efforts and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Assist with administrative support across all areas of the Museum;

Serve as the in-house expert for PatronManager, the Museum’s CRM system,

including managing all sales, group bookings, field trip and education programming

reservations, and visitor use of PatronManager, programming and releasing tickets, and running sales and attendance reports;

Enter and maintain clean data and adjust records as needed to maintain data quality and ensure useful output of reports;

Send weekly/monthly financial updates and reconcile systems database to accounting reports each month;

Monitor general field trip, education, and birthday email inbox for queries and

respond in a timely manner to provide exceptional customer service;

Provide logistical support for Museum events; 

Support other Museum-related tasks as needed.
