ACM Reciprocal Program

ACM member museums have the option to participate in the ACM Reciprocal Program.

A children's museum membership that includes ACM Reciprocal privileges means that the privileges extend ONLY to children's museums within the ACM Reciprocal Network and not within the ACM membership. There are more than 150 children's museums in the ACM Reciprocal Network.

Present your museum membership card with an ACM sticker on the back (issued by your own museum) at any of the participating museums and enjoy the following privileges:

  • Free admission at all times during regular museum hours.
  • Admission privileges to special exhibits as offered to members of that museum.
  • Admission privileges to members' previews as offered to members of that museum.

Exclusions:

  • Privileges do not include mailings from the participating museums, except for the museum with which the member is affiliated.
  • Privileges do not include gift shop discounts from the participating museums, except for the museum with which the member is affiliated.
  • Privileges are extended as long as the visitor's membership card is valid and the museums are current in their ACM membership dues.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: The museum you visit has a right to reasonably restrict the number of members and guests that may receive free admission from the Reciprocal Program. The number of members allowed complimentary entry at a museum you visit may be different than your home museum's membership policy. Most program participants allow four family members with admission.

Please call museums in advance of your visit to inquire about their admissions policy and check the hours that they are open to the public. Questions? Contact your museum's membership department.
